Terra Sancta Museum | The Franciscans of the Custody of the Holy Land present TERRA SANCTA MUSEUM, located in the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem. There will be a permanent exhibition in discovering the history of the fascinating land, in which the fates of many peoples living together, in the Holy Places, from the three great monotheistic religions have been mysteriously intertwined.

The Terra Sancta Museum

Located in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem, the Terra Sancta Museum exhibits Christianity’s archaeological and artistic heritage, which has been carefully preserved for 800 years by the Franciscans.

The multimedia and archeological sections will gradually be opened to visitors eager to discover the roots of Christianity in their homeland. The opening of the historical section is scheduled for 2021, which will reveal the many donations made by the Royal Courts of Europe over the centuries.
