Women and textiles in the collections of vestments of the Custody of the Holy Land

From the planets created by the dresses of European sovereigns, to the chalice veils embroidered by delicate female hands, to the unexpected link between Palestinian embroiderers and Catholic liturgical vestments, discover the little-known contribution of women to the predominantly masculine world of the ancient fabric, through the exhibition of traditional Palestinian clothing and a selection of liturgical vestments donated between the 17th and 18th centuries by the realms of Europe to the Custody of the Holy Land in Jerusalem.
