“As ancient as an olive tree, as young as its fruit” Contest
A total of €5000 in cash prizes
We are launching a contest named “As ancient as an olive tree, as young as its fruit” to encourage Palestinians over the age of 18 (individuals or businesses) to come forward and compete to creatively reuse the TSM collections and create a unique, contemporary design that is as young as green olive, inspired by antique objects as ancient as the Palestinian olive trees.
This Contest is intended to inspire you to create and innovate. Three winners will receive a total of €5000 in award money from the Contest’s three prize categories: 1. Terra Sancta Design Award; 2. Young Designer Terra Sancta Award (aged 25 and under, and 150 euros of financial support to produce a prototype); 3. People’s Choice Terra Sancta Award.
Pro Terra Sancta and Terra Sancta Museum commit to providing enough promotion for designers by:
- Presenting their works at Terra Sancta Museum;
- Inviting journalists, curators, and institutions to participate in the presentation day;
- Promotion using their own and their partners’ web channels;
- Publishing a catalogue.
